WELCOME
TO Bethel AME Church

COVID-19 continues to be a concern in our community as it spreads across the state, country, and the world.  Therefore, we all must remain vigilant. The changes we have had to make in our worship experiences, Bible study and ministries; in our work and other routines in our daily lives are challenging, but these changes are essential and critically important. We must be diligent and consistent in the measures we take to stop the spread of this dangerous virus. The more steps you and your family can take to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the safer you will be.

Please follow the three Ws – Wear a mask (cloth facing covering); Wait six feet apart from others and Wash your hands!

Our prayers for a rapid and complete healing are with the community, especially those persons directly affected by this virus.

Grace and Mercy,

Rev. Dr. Silvester S. Beaman
Pastor

We welcome you to Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church Wilmington, Delaware and invite you to share in the Bethel experience. We are an inner-city church whose vision is: “Fulfilling God’s Plan Doing Ministry.”

Our mission is “to foster the development of the congregation and neighborhood and enhance the quality of life for all God’s people through worship, inspiration, social needs and discipleship.” We believe that the greatest response to the grace, favor and mercies of God is to be an extension of His beneficence. Therefore, we offer to our members and the Greater Wilmington community a diverse and broad selection of ministries and initiatives. These ministries have been strategically developed to holistically minister to the individual spiritually, physically and socially.
